Writing Hurdles

I’m actually at a point where the end of LTB:ES is in sight.

And by “the end,” I mean the end of the story, not the end of the editing, rewriting, re-editing, publishing.

And by “in sight,” I don’t mean it will be done by the end of the week.

But I can definitely see the light at the end of the tunnel.  I have completed the two main conflicts, and the beginning of the resolution is in the making.

Oh, there is still plennnnnnnnty of writing to be done, both before the end of this novel is reached and also after the end is reached and a second pass is taken.

But I just have to take the opportunity to do the text version of a happy dance at the realization that I am in the home stretch of completing my second novel.

Now if you’ll excuse me…

This is the best moment! When you have that twinkling little promise in the far distance that you are actually going to finish the first part of the project – such a relief. It even makes the future parts (redrafts, edits, edits, edits, agent, edits, edits…) seem worth the effort too 🙂
