New and Different

Today, since I was waiting for files to be accepted from the chapter book, and since I wasn’t prepared to attack Emma’s Story first round edits just yet, I took a break from noveling.

Instead, I…
took five children to Target,
dropped the eldest off at a movie with his friend,
took four children to the bank and grocery store,
fed four children lunch,
played games with four children,
took four children to pick up eldest and his friend from post-movie Subway lunch,
brought six children home and put 4 children down for naps/reading time,
caught up on blogs and emails,
finished a Beta read for another writer,
wrote my first flash fiction,
got four children up from naps/reading time and sent four children outside,
played with 2 two year olds,
fed six children dinner,
commenced after-dinner-til-bedtime routine with four children,
wrote 3 of 5 planned poems,
watched “Frozen” with 2 two year olds before bed,
finished bed time routine with four children – with the immensely appreciated help of hubby.

Now I am going to sign off for awhile and go snuggle on the couch with said awesome hubby before OUR bed time.

And your day is 36 hours long?

That would be nice! Then after all that, I could have worked on Emma.

Very busy and fullfilling sounding day? <3

Busy for sure. I should have added in there “kept two year olds from killing each other.” Frustrating and draining, that part.
