Featured Author – SK Nicholls

Susan Nicholls is a Registered Nurse, with a 30 year career in everything from ER, CCU, med-surg, hospice, and psychiatry to forensics. She currently performs wellness screenings and is a certified sexual assault nurse examiner. She started writing in high school and minored in journalism and creative composition in college.

In 2013, she wrote and published “Red Clay and Roses,” a fictionalized true story that explores civil rights, interracial relations, and women’s issues in the 1950s and 60s. Currently, she’s working on a sequel, “Surviving Sister: A Melody of Madness,” and a crime novel series.
