“Aye, aye” – SoCS 3/21/15

This week’s prompt is “I / eye / aye.”  I had something in mind, but as I started writing, something else happened entirely.  Don’t ask me how/why this happens to me.  (If it happens to you, you already get it; if it doesn’t happen to you, you wouldn’t understand anyway.)

Aye, aye.
Whatever you say.
You’re right;
You always are.
There are no other
No alternatives.
No facts,
No truth but yours.
Thinking for oneself,
being independent,
a critical thinker,
are not acceptable;
Unless of course
they are reflective
of you,
in which case they aren’t
self awareness,
or critical thinking.
Are they?
Aye, Aye, Captain.
