Post-Draft-Completion

On Sunday night when I closed the computer and went to bed, I was under the assumption that I would have a couple of relaxing days to follow, since I would be taking a short break from Lily’s Story.

Not so.

Yesterday we had to get some grocery shopping done and make an impromptu run to the naturalpath to pick up a supplement that was on back order for several weeks and finally came in.  While the Littles were resting, I spent a little quality time with Mini-Me, and then worked on reformatting the interior and cover files for the second editions of both Kaedyn’s and Emma’s Stories.  Along with the name change, I’m also changing the book size slightly, as well as using my own ISBNs.  I actually got them both done by the end of the day, which surprised me.

Today I’m working on the name change for To Have a Family; that one isn’t changing sizes, but is getting a new ISBN.  I also caught up on more blogs (YAY for getting that guilt-monkey off my back!) and helped Mini-Me bake some chocolate cupcakes.  Tonight they get filled with ganache, and tomorrow they get frosted.  The rest of my day today has consisted of chasing wild and energetic three year olds around the house.

The rest of the week looks much the same as these first two days, including the addition of edits on Lily’s MS.

Thankfully, the hubster and I are getting out of town for a few days next week.  That will be my forced relaxation.

And now it’s time for Taco Tuesday to commence.  (=

My daughter is expecting her third and you should hear her. She can barely manage a two and five year old. This is going to be interesting. Save a cupcake for me 😀

Adding another is always an adjustment, no matter how many/few you already have. But somehow everything works itself out. She will settle into a new routine after a time. Will save you a cupcake for a limited time ;-).

Sounds like a busy week. Hope it calms down. Though the cupcakes sound worth it.

It never seems to calm down. But then, you know that too. And since I can’t have the cupcakes… I hope they’re worth it to my kids lol :-).
