As you know if you’ve been reading for awhile, I homeschool our kids.
What this means here is… very little. My routine at home changes when we move from summer into fall, but I always fit time into my daily schedule to read blogs, write in my own blog, and work on my writing projects. The one thing it might mean for my blog is more material for posts, since kids in general are an excellent source of material.
But one thing that is going to change for us this year is that we are going to have a high schooler. A high schooler who is already a writer. He has been participating in the Young Writer’s Program since he was in fifth grade; this will be his fifth year. And I, as his mother, teacher, and writing coach, have decided that he will add to his writing practice by blogging.
So a new blogger and writer will be joining the ranks in just a week or so. I think you will enjoy what he has to offer the world of writing.
And I’m not the least bit biased.
