The name change conversion is almost complete, and it didn’t take nearly as long as I thought it would.
With all the details involved and the seemingly quadrillion places that I had to make changes – not to mention reformatting files for the print books, since I was making other changes too – I expected this whole thing to take a week if not two. But all I’m waiting for now is for the final files for To Have a Family to be approved by CS so that I can order proof copies. I’m going ahead with the digital file conversions today, since I’m close enough to having the print copies ready. I want everything changed on the digital side first anyway, so that Amazon won’t (shouldn’t anyway) have trouble matching the hard copies up with the Kindle versions.
You’ve had a few days to notice it around the website and Facebook, if you follow me there; what does everyone think?
It’s taking some getting used to for me, but I like it. It’s unique and makes me my own “person.” No more worrying about getting confused with someone else :-).
