Looking Back and Moving Forward: Accomplishments & Goals 3/22/15

(In each section, personal items are in standard script and work items are in italics.)

What I’ve accomplished this past week:

  • Made a batch of GF banana muffins and a batch of sprouted wheat muffins
  • Purchased organizational items for the girls’ desks, to be utilized this week
  • Made three loaves of homemade sandwich bread to freeze
  • Spent some time outside on days where the weather allowed, including a trip to the zoo on Monday
  • Attended JD’s basketball awards dinner (if you’ve ever attended a three-hour dinner with 100+ people and your three year old son who cannot sit still after about ten minutes, you know what a feat this is.  If you haven’t, you should try it sometime.)

  • Finished the cover for Lily’s Story
  • Finished Lily’s Story bookmarks and had some printed
  • Entered Emma’s Story in a second book contest
  • Attended our Local Authors Day event, sold a few books, and connected with a few other writers
  • Finished and posted not three but six blog posts (plus one re-post)
  • Worked on several (more) blog posts, to be posted in the next week or two
  • Caught up on a few blogs

What I need to accomplish this coming week:

  • Work on organizing the loft office/library (this is likely more than a one-week job)
  • Help the girls organize their desks
  • Work on scrap book pages from the last two years for Peanut
  • Shop for gifts for Peanut and Ladybug’s adoptions
  • Order announcements and party invitations for the adoption party
  • Bake a loaf of nut bread and a loaf of cinnamon raisin bread
  • Spend some time on the piano
  • Spend more time outside, weather permitting

  • Continue with Lily’s Story, with the goal of completing Draft #1
  • See item #1
  • Finalize and post at least three blog posts
  • Print additional business cards
  • Complete Lily’s Story cover and make corresponding business cards
  • Catch up on more blogs
  • Find and read at least three new blogs
