Long Week of Late Nights

I’ve had late nights every single night this week.  (Not to mention middle-of-the-night wake up calls by the Bug.)  I’ve gotten a lot accomplished in my writing projects.  That right there explains why I haven’t been very active on the blog this week.  But I HAVE read a lot of other people’s blogs this week.

The first draft of Lies That Bind: Emma’s Story was completed.

I am in the final edits of the children’s chapter book (working title Family) and getting ready to send Beta copies out to my chosen Beta readers.  (See this post for details.)

The first issue of my newsletter is all set and ready to go out on Tuesday.  (Have I mentioned that if you haven’t signed up yet, you’re going to be missing out on some fun stuff??  This includes interviews with other Indie Authors, a sneak peek at some of my upcoming work, and more.)

I still feel like there is SO much on my list that needs to get done, but I won’t deny that it feels great to finish a few things.

The weekend promises to be busy in more ways than one, so I can’t promise any more posts (though as always, I will try!).  I hope everyone has a safe and fun weekend!

Those are always fun weeks, but they’re usually worth it. Especially if the late nights lead into a relaxing weekend. 🙂

I’m actually a total night owl, so working late nights is ideal. If only my son didn’t wake up in the night so often :-). And a relaxing weekend would have been nice, but it looks like I’m going to have to hold out for next weekend!

I’m at the point where I’m not sure what I am. I can’t push myself to stay up late very often, but I hate mornings. Maybe I’m just a noonie.
