Lies That Bind: Emma’s Story

It’s official!  I finished final round edits on Emma’s Story at 1:00 this morning!

I’m having a manuscript printed up so I can glance over it in print for anything glaring, and then it’s off to My Person, and shortly after that, a more “official” Beta reader (a fellow writer).  I’m nervous about both, and if I’m going to be totally honest with myself, there will be more than just a “glance” over the printed manuscript, and then I have to get up the gumption to stick it in the mail.  (So if you’re one of the two aforementioned people, don’t hold your breath while waiting for the mail.)

I’ve also begun working on graphics for the cover.  Now that I have the manuscript basically finished, I can get a pretty close estimate of the cover size, which means I’ll now be able to work on the layout of the whole cover. I’m looking forward to that part.

Yay! That’s progress! I finally got up the nerve to send my last MS off to a couple of good beta readers. My alpha reader is tough. So I am hoping we have things looking good.
